Randy Durband는 미국 TUI 그룹 산하의 Travcoa, INTRAV, Clipper Cruise Lines에서 President를, Tauck World Discovery에서 Executive Vice President를 역임한 리더 출신으로, 2014년부터 Global Sustainable Tourism Council(GSTC)의 CEO로 재직 중입니다. 


그는 UN, WWF 등 국제기구와 협업하여 지속가능관광의 기준(Industry & Destination Criteria)을 개발·확산했으며, WTTC Tourism for Tomorrow, UN Inspire Awards, PATA Gold Awards 등의 심사위원과 정부·기업 대상 자문연사로 활동하며 ESG 기반 실무 전환을 주도하고 있습니다.


또한, 그의 지속적인 노력이 인정받아 2024년에는 The Independent의 ‘Climate 100 List’에 선정되었습니다.
